Took me several hours to beat him and considering many attemptes ended in a few seconds or mere minutes it took me quite a few tries in that time...Isshin from Sekiro is the closest I've come to not being able to beating a boss. The hardest I've defeated was definitely Sigrun. The Radiance herself only appears at the end of the true ending. Instead, the Knight transforms into a massive monster made of Void called "Void Given Focus", which grabs Absolute Radiance and effortlessly kills her by slashing at her repetitively with their claws, causing her to shatter into thousands of dream essence. But Lawrence destroyed me. Absolute Radiance could have been much better, but as she is right now, she's a boss with little uniqueness to set her apart from her original fight and has absolutely brutal levels of difficulty.

As for originality...it's not much. Unlike the individualist society of Hallownest however, the Radiance offered unity to bugs at the cost of a mind incapable of thought.After the Pale King arrived in Hallownest and expanded the minds of his new subjects, the Moth Tribe turned their backs on the Radiance and worshipped him instead.

you dont have to defeat her, just getting to her is enough of course, if you want to fight the normal radiance again you can simply fight the hollow knight boss and dream nail at the stage again.the statue is of a harder boss called absolute radiance … When infected, the bugs' memories are reverted back to their original primal hive mind instincts, but due to the Radiance's malevolent influences, they grew hostile and slaughtered everything in their path.
