Delicious choucroute - we had the Bofinger and the Seafood Choucroutes followed by crème brulé, bab au rhum (which was amply poured over the dessert at the table by the waiter) and île flottante.

We stayed right around the corner after we took the train into Gare de L'est, and this place was one of my favorites.

This's was puzzling as we came in at a slow time when there were few other patronsVery good but too expensive for what it is, could be more chic and chez Bofinger-style, more intimate but the mirrors are a nice touchWe had heard about this typical Parisian ( Alsatian) brasserie and made our reservation long before we arrived in Paris, asking for a table under the ’cupole’ which we were given. Would definitely return.
